We now have our revised parking restriction plan which the Parish Council will officially submit to Oxfordshire County Council for their consideration.
Oxfordshire County Council (OCC), as part of their process will contact the Parish Council, any property owners affected, advertise the proposal in the newspaper, post notices on OCC owned poles where available and contact the emergency services and public transport companies.
The revised plan takes into consideration the requests made for additional protection to Busbys Close, Manor Lane, Bampton Road and Mill Lane. Driveway protection to Wicks Close properties will also be incorporated but does not need to be included within the regulation order. The request to add a pedestrian walkway on Mill Lane was rejected by OCC on the grounds of giving pedestrians a false sense of security.
